GillIspie and UK Should be embarrassed

The University of Kentucky called off its game against Travis Ford and UMass on November 24th at TD Banknorth Garden. They exercised their 50k buyout option to cancel the game in order to ensure that new coach Billy Gillispie would have another home game. This is shameful. Coaches like Gillispie often have in their contracts a guarantee of a portion of gate receipts for home games. This whole situation stinks of greed and UMass is caught losing an estimated 300k in revenues. Now UK only has 2 non-conference road games scheduled this season. Hope the selection committee treats them accordingly.
