Gil Skeate (Gilbert Skeate) was born on May 19, 1901. After going to high school at J.M. Weatherwax (Aberdeen, WA), Skeate attended Gonzaga University. Skeate made his professional debut in the NFL in 1927 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 1 year career.
