Gil Meyers (Gilbert P. Meyers) was born on November 25, 1920 in Baltimore, Maryland. After going to high school at City College (Baltimore, MD), Meyers attended Wake Forest University. Meyers made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 1 year career.
