Gil Duggan (Gilford R. Duggan) was born on December 26, 1916 in Benton, Arkansas. Duggan attended the University of Oklahoma. Duggan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the New York Giants. He played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Chicago Cardinals, chicago/pittsburgh and New York Giants over the course of his 5 year NFL career.Duggan also played in the AAFC for 2 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Dons over the course of his 2 year AAFC career.
Most people believe that 1942 was Gil Duggan's best year.
