Gib Dawson (Gilbert Henry Dawson) was born on August 27, 1930 in Bisbee, Arizona. After going to high school at Douglas (AZ), Dawson attended the University of Texas. Dawson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 1 year career.
