Get Yer Fantasy Football Cheat Sheets

You know who the #1 Fantasy QB was last year based on Points Per Game? Donovan McNabb. You know who was #2? Marc Bulger. If you think Marc Bulger is going to stay healthy this year, you might be able to get a stud QB a lot later than many QB's who were not as good as him on a daily basis, but had the good luck to not be injured. Did you know that Clinton Portis and Dominick Davis both averaged 15.2 ppg last year? Did you know that Julius Jones out performed Cadillac Williams in points per game? There are things you need to know before your draft. Go grab the Geek Fantasy Football Cheat Sheets over at Sportsdot.

Ok, I got the spreadsheets, opened them up in excel, but when I try to order them by Fantasy Points(FPS), instead of points per game(PPG), it only sorts that column. Anyone know how to do that right?

Because they wouldn't have a last year to compare at NFL standard.

Julius Jones outperformed Cadillac because Cadillac had an injury in the middle of the season. But in the beg. of the season, Caddy was one of the top RB's in the league.

Julius Jones also missed alot of last years season. That's the nice thing about the Points Per Game stat -- you can compare players who were injured.

if you base your draft on how players did last year, you are going to fail

exactly. different teammates, different players on different opponents, you have to roll with the times, not dwell on last year.

as in any investment, past performance does NOT ensure future success... You're better off trying to find "THIS year's Willie Parker" than picking last year's Willie Parker...

that's such an idiotic comment because the reverse is completely true too: if you DON'T base your draft on last years results you're also going to fail. Accumulate as much information as you can. But PPG is a stat that you won't find on most other cheat sheets or in the magazines. That's what made these a good download. Anyone who tells you the had identified Willie Parker as a huge stud BEFORE game 1 is a liar. People knew he was going to start, but who knew he'd out perform Bettis and Staley? IMHO know that Julius Jones was actually that good when he played definitely makes me value him a bit more considering that he's been very healthy.
