Gerry Huth (Gerald Bernard Huth) was born on July 23, 1933 in Floyd Knobs, Indiana. After going to high school at New Albany (IN), Huth attended Wake Forest University. Huth made his professional debut in the NFL in 1956 with the New York Giants. He played for the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1959 was Gerry Huth's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
