Gerry Dennerlein (Gerald E. Dennerlein) was born on December 1, 1915 in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Garfield (Los Angeles, CA), Dennerlein attended St. Mary's College of California. Dennerlein made his professional debut in the NFL in 1937 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 2 year career.
