Gerry Courtney (Gerald Courtney) was born on March 2, 1918 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Courtney attended Syracuse University. Courtney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
