Gerry Bussell (Gerald Wheeler Bussell) was born on September 7, 1943 in Middlesboro, Kentucky. After going to high school at Englewood (Jacksonville, FL), Bussell attended Georgia Institure of Technology. Bussell made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 1 year career.
