Germane Crowell (Germane L. Crowell) was born on September 13, 1976 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. After going to high school at North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC), Crowell attended the University of Virginia. Crowell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1998 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1999 was Germane Crowell's best year, as he hauled in 81 receptions, had 1338 receiving yards and caught 7 TD passes.
