German Barranca (German (Costales) Barranca) was born on October 19, 1956 in Veracruz, Veracruz (Mexico). He made his Major League debut on September 2, 1979 for the Kansas City Royals. Barranca played for the Kansas City Royals and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 2 year career.
