Gerard Williams (Gerard Anthony Williams) was born on May 25, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Northeast (Oklahoma City, OK), Williams attended Langston University. Williams made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins, St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Gerard Williams's best year, as he picked off 4 passes and recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
