Gerald Young (Gerald Anthony Young) was born on October 22, 1964 in Tele, Honduras. He made his Major League debut on July 8, 1987 for the Houston Astros. In 1987, his rookie year, he hit .321 with 1 home run and 15 RBI. Young played for the Houston Astros, Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Gerald Young's best season was 1988, when he stole 65 bases.
