Gerald Perry (Gerald June Perry) was born on October 30, 1960 in Savannah, Georgia. He made his Major League debut on August 11, 1983 for the Atlanta Braves. In 1984, his rookie year, he hit .265 with 7 home runs and 47 RBI. Perry played for the Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Gerald Perry's best season was 1987, when he stole 42 bases and knocked in 74 runs.
