Gerald Nichols (Gerald W. Nichols) was born on February 10, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri. After going to high school at Hazelwood East (St. Louis, MO), Nichols attended Florida State University. Nichols made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets, Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1989 was Gerald Nichols's best year.
