George Wright (George Wayne Wright) was born on March 3, 1947 in Houston, Texas. After going to high school at C.E. King (Houston, TX), Wright attended Sam Houston State University. Wright made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 3 year career.
