George Wilson (George Washington Wilson) was born on August 30, 1925 in Cherryville, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 15, 1952 for the New York Giants. Wilson played for the New York Giants, Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees over the course of his 2 year career.
