George Wilde (George Hall Wilde) was born on March 16, 1923 in Olney, Texas. After going to high school at Graham (TX), Wilde attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Wilde made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 1 year career.
