George Webb (George Louis Webb) was born on April 2, 1916 in Itasca, Texas. After going to high school at Itasca (TX), Webb attended Texas Technical University. Webb made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
