George Treadway (George B. Treadway) was born on November 11, 1866 in Greenup County, Kentucky. He made his Major League debut on April 27, 1893 for the Baltimore Orioles. In 1893, his rookie year, he hit .260 with 1 home run and 67 RBI. Treadway played for the Baltimore Orioles, Brooklyn Bridegrooms and Louisville Colonels over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that George Treadway's best season was 1894, when he stole 27 bases, hit for a .328 average and knocked in 102 runs.
