George Trafton (George Trafton) was born on December 6, 1896 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Oak Park (IL), Trafton attended the University of Notre Dame. Trafton made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Decatur Staleys. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Chicago Staleys and Decatur Staleys over the course of his 2 year APFA career.Trafton also played in the NFL for 10 years, playing for the Chicago Bears the entire time.
