George Tobin (George Edward Tobin) was born on July 9, 1921 in Belmont, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Marianapolis Academy (Thompson, CT), Tobin attended the University of Notre Dame. Tobin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
