[edit] BiographyCAREER: Junior running back...Impressed UM coaches in spring practice in 2005 when he got a chance to play with other players out with injuries and showed his abilities...Versatile all-around athlete who could play running back, defensive back or receiver...Liberal arts and criminology major. 2006 (SOPHOMORE): Did not play in any games. 2005 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in one game, as a reserve running back against Duke. 2004 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt, but played on all the scout teams. HIGH SCHOOL: Two-way player who was a big-play producer on offense and frequently made game-turning plays defensively...As a senior in 2003, played both running back and receiver, rushing for 1,253 yards on 109 carries and catching 19 passes for 301 yards...On defense as a senior, made 46 tackles and broke up 17 passes...As a junior in 2002, made four interceptions and broke up 13 passes on the way to earning All-Region honors...Cousin of former UM receiver/return specialist Roscoe Parrish...Chose Miami over North Carolina, Florida, Louisiana State, South Florida and Tennessee...Coached by Danny Green.
