George Thornton (George Renardo Thornton) was born on April 27, 1968 in Montgomery, Alabama. After going to high school at Jeff Davis (Montgomery, AL), Thornton attended the University of Alabama. Thornton made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers and New York Giants over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1992 was George Thornton's best year.
