George Taliaferro

George Taliaferro (George Taliaferro) was born on January 8, 1927 in Gates, Tennessee. After going to high school at Roosevelt (Gary, IN), Taliaferro attended Indiana University. Taliaferro made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1949 with the Los Angeles Dons. He played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the Los Angeles Dons the entire time. Taliaferro also played in the NFL for 6 years, playing for the Baltimore Colts, New York Yanks, Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 6 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1950 was George Taliaferro's best year, as he ran in 4 TDs, caught 5 TD passes and had 473 kick return yards.
