George Schmidt (George Schmidt) was born on October 28, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Roosevelt (Chicago, IL), Schmidt attended Lewis University. Schmidt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Chicago Cardinals and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1952 was George Schmidt's best year.
