George Schmees (George Edward Schmees) was born on September 6, 1924 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on April 15, 1952 for the St. Louis Browns. Schmees played for the St. Louis Browns and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 1 year career.
