George Saimes (George T. Saimes) was born on September 1, 1941 in Canton, Ohio. After going to high school at Lincoln (Canton, OH), Saimes attended Michigan State University. Saimes made his professional debut in the AFL in 1963 with the Buffalo Bills. He played in the AFL for 7 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills the entire time. Saimes also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
Most people believe that 1963 was George Saimes's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
