George Roberts

George Roberts (George William Roberts) was born on June 10, 1955 in Lynchburg, Virginia. After going to high school at E.C. Glass (Lynchburg, VA), Roberts attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Roberts made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1980 was George Roberts's best year, as he dropped 18 punts inside the 20 and had a 42.6 yard punt average.
