George Puccinelli

George Puccinelli (George Lawrence Puccinelli) was born on June 22, 1907 in San Francisco, California. He made his Major League debut on July 17, 1930 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1936, his rookie year, he hit .278 with 11 home runs and 78 RBI. Puccinelli played for the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Browns and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that George Puccinelli's best season was 1936, when he hit for a .278 average and knocked in 78 runs.
