George Platukis

George Platukis (George P. Platukis) was born on March 15, 1915 in West Hazelton, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at West Hazelton (PA), Platukis attended Duquesne University. Platukis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Rams over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1940 was George Platukis's best year.
