George Petrovich (George John Petrovich) was born on March 22, 1926 in Palestine, Texas. After going to high school at Palestine (TX), Petrovich attended the University of Texas. Petrovich made his professional debut in the NFL in 1949 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 2 year career.
