George Perring (George Wilson Perring) was born on August 13, 1884 in Sharon, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on April 25, 1908 for the Cleveland Naps. In 1908, his rookie year, he hit .216 with 0 home runs and 19 RBI. Perring played for the Cleveland Naps and Kansas City Packers over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that George Perring's best season was 1915, when he knocked in 67 runs.
