George Papach

George Papach (George Martin Papach) was born on April 27, 1925 in Youngstown, Ohio. After going to high school at Chaney (Youngstown, OH), Papach attended Purdue University. Papach made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1948 was George Papach's best year.
