Born on May 27, 1929 in Winchester, Illinois, George O'Donnell (George Dana O'Donnell) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career. O'Donnell broke into the bigs on April 18, 1954 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 4.53 ERA in 87.1 innings pitched in 1954, his rookie year.
