George Myers (George D. Myers) was born on November 13, 1860 in Buffalo, New York. He made his Major League debut on May 2, 1884 for the Buffalo Bisons. In 1884, his rookie year, he hit .182 with 2 home runs and 32 RBI. Myers played for the Buffalo Bisons, St. Louis Maroons and Indianapolis Hoosiers over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that George Myers's best season was 1888, when he stole 28 bases.
