George Myatt (George Edward Myatt) was born on June 14, 1914 in Denver, Colorado. He made his Major League debut on August 16, 1938 for the New York Giants. In 1938, his rookie year, he hit .306 with 3 home runs and 10 RBI. Myatt played for the New York Giants and Washington Senators over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that George Myatt's best season was 1945, when he stole 30 bases and hit for a .296 average.
