George Mooney (George Washington Mooney) was born on February 22, 1896 in Chicago, Illinois. Mooney attended Georgetown University. Mooney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Milwaukee Badgers. He played for the Milwaukee Badgers for his entire 3 year career.
