Born on June 26, 1903 in Cleburne, Texas, George Milstead (George Earl Milstead) played for the Chicago Cubs for his entire 3 year career. Milstead broke into the bigs on June 27, 1924 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 3.58 ERA in 55.1 innings pitched in 1926, his rookie year.
