George McBride (George Florian McBride) was born on November 20, 1880 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on September 12, 1901 for the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1905, his rookie year, he hit .217 with 2 home runs and 41 RBI. McBride played for the Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Senators over the course of his 16 year career.

Most people believe that George McBride's best season was 1911, when he knocked in 59 runs.
