George Lowe (George H. Lowe) was born on June 21, 1895 in Arlington, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Exeter, Lowe attended Fordham University and Lafayette College. Lowe made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Canton Bulldogs. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Cleveland Tigers and Canton Bulldogs over the course of his 2 year APFA career.Lowe also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Providence Steam Roller and Frankford Yellow Jackets over the course of his 3 year NFL career.
