George Loepp (George Herbert Loepp) was born on September 11, 1901 in Detroit, Michigan. He made his Major League debut on August 29, 1928 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1930, his rookie year, he hit .276 with 0 home runs and 14 RBI. Loepp played for the Boston Red Sox and Washington Senators over the course of his 2 year career.
