George Lilja (George Vincent Lilka) was born on March 3, 1958 in Evergreen Park, Illinois. After going to high school at Carl Sandberg (Orland Park, IL), Lilja attended the University of Michigan. Lilja made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 6 year career.
