George Koch (George Theodore Koch) was born on July 7, 1919 in Temple, Texas. After going to high school at Temple (TX), Koch attended Baylor University and St. Mary's University. Koch made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Cleveland Rams. He played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Los Angeles Rams and Cleveland Rams over the course of his 2 year NFL career.Koch also played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the Buffalo Bills the entire time.
Most people believe that 1947 was George Koch's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
