George Kakasic (George John Kakasic) was born on April 24, 1912 in Mingo Junction, Ohio. After going to high school at Mingo Junction (OH), Kakasic attended Duquesne University. Kakasic made his professional debut in the NFL in 1936 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1936 was George Kakasic's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
