George Kahler

Born on September 6, 1889 in Athens, Ohio, George Kahler (George Runnells Kahler) played for the Cleveland Naps for his entire 5 year career. Kahler broke into the bigs on August 13, 1910 with the Cleveland Naps, and put up a 1.60 ERA in 95.1 innings pitched in 1910, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was George Kahler's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1912, when he posted a 3.69 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 104 batters. However, others believe that it was 1911, when he posted a 3.27 ERA and struck out 97 batters.
