George Jamison (George R. Jamison, Jr.) was born on September 30, 1962 in Bridgeton, New Jersey. After going to high school at Bridgeton (NJ), Jamison attended the University of Cincinnati. Jamison made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that 1988 was George Jamison's best year, as he picked off 3 passes, ran back an interception for a touchdown, recorded 5.5 sacks, recovered 3 opponents fumbles and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
