George Jackson (George Christopher Jackson) was born on January 2, 1882 in Springfield, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on August 2, 1911 for the Boston Rustlers. In 1911, his rookie year, he hit .347 with 0 home runs and 25 RBI. Jackson played for the Boston Rustlers and Boston Braves over the course of his 3 year career.
