George Hurley (George Frank Hurley) was born on October 19, 1909 in San Francisco, California. After going to high school at Wilmerding (San Francisco, CA), Hurley attended Washington State Universtiy. Hurley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Boston Braves. He played for the Boston Redskins and Boston Braves over the course of his 2 year career.
